Today in class, we officially finished Hamlet by turning in our crossword puzzles and essays. After that, Mrs.Murphy played the Abriged Shakespeare for us.

As we’re getting closer and closer to the end of the year, we’re all getting tired. Hang in there just a little longer, guys!

Below are some links to some some stuff. Yes, I know that, that last line was very uncreative.

Choose from the following list of authors for your elective novel. They are all classic novelists. Look at the different books they have to offer and select the novel that looks the most interesting to you because you will have to read it and do extensive work with it. Please be advised that your novel must be at least two hundred and fifty pages in length. Your book needs to be located and checked out or purchased by Friday, May 1 at the latest. If you have a suggestion for another author other than the ones on this list, you can ask me to approve the author and title before you check it out.

Hey guys!! Okay, so I really hope this works, but I’m a little unsure about it…o.O.

Today in class we read Act I, Scenes III, IV, and V. Don’t forget to read Act II, Scene I tonight. :)

By the way, it took me forever to find something to put on here, so I hope you guys like it.

The first one’s pretty odd, just fair warning. The second one is longer and it has Mel Gibson in it. Ha.

Also, if you want to prepare for all that Shakespearean english, let cartoons help! Link

And of course, a little test prep.

Be sure to take notes on the subjects we covered on tuesday when we beging reading tomorrow.

ALL THIS SUSPENSE! NOW I’M SO EXCITED TO READ HAMLET!  Mrs. Murphy, was this your plan all along? :o
